Joseph E. Forks has been photographing western Texas vistas, fauna, and flora for over 30 years: "On a family trip from San Antonio to California in 1974 the Trans-Pecos region first caught my eye". It was the beginning of a life long fascination with the Chihuahuan Desert.
Joe is an avid Herpetologist and contributing author of A FIELD GUIDE TO TEXAS SNAKES by Alan Tennant, 1998 Gulf Publishing Company, Houston, Texas.
Joe's wildlife photos have been published in numerous books and magazines including cover photo assignments for Fancy Publications, Advanced Visions Inc., Tricolor Books, and The World Wildlife Fund.
Plans are now under way to open a Gallery in Marathon Texas featuring Joe's work.
