Tad Bowman is a landscape photographer who focuses his efforts on mountain scenes and the great outdoors. The artist has had success by hard work and a talent for capturing breathtaking wide angle grand scenics and intimate landscape images. Tad’s work is often complimented as surreal.
The artist and his family reside in Colorado and a large part of his photography is centered on the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Additionally, the artist ventures into Utah, Wyoming, and Tennessee to glean images from those unique landscapes.
Growing up, Tad spent a lot of time outdoors exploring and hiking the area of the Smoky Mountain National Park. That passion for the mountain imagery and adventure quickly turned to photography as a means to capture the moments so they could be re-lived by viewing the image again and again. Tad now spends great effort planning day hikes, backpacking adventures, and road side photography to capture unique subjects along with the beautiful light that nature bestows. The goal of his photography is to capture the beauty of nature. His hope is that each photograph will mentally and visually take the viewer to each location and offer him or her the opportunity to experience the beauty of each scene and appreciate the land we live in and around.
