A resident of Portland Oregon, I am an avid nature and travel photographer. Currently specializing in flowers, butterflys, and landscapes. Portland and the Pacific Northwest provide an endless aray of nature available to me. As a result, I am always looking to expand my list of photo subjects.
I first became interested in photography in college. Later with the advancements in digital photography, I have reimersed myself in the hobby; recently attending workshops with professionals such as Tony Sweet and Brenda Tharp. I am working to strengthen my technical abilities and creative process. I enjoy working in PhotoShop to improve my images as well as to create unique photo art.
Other than photography, I enjoy hiking, golf, gardening, and woodworking. I have been married for over 15 years to my best friend. My wife and I have 2 adopted retired racing greyhounds. I work for a leading sports and fitness company as a product developer.
