I've been taking pictures for 40 years, but last spring I bought myself a new camera. Since then, the box has barely left my hands.
The camera I bought was a Canon D350 single lens reflex digital. “I am hooked,”. “It is so much better than film. I've worked in film for 40 years, but this camera sees things differently. There are many subtle colors in water that the digital cameras seem to capture better than film.”
Some of my photos will be hanging through February in a double show at College of the Atlantic's Thorndike Library. A show of butterflies, “Butterflies of Acadia,” is on display in the lobby outside the library. General nature photographs hang in the reading room in a small show titled “Images of Acadia.”
I have studied at the Art Institute of Boston, and have been a professional graphic designer and photographer. Currently, I am the assistant food service director at College of the Atlantic.
