Travelling and capturing nature’s beauty is my passion. I have been taking photographs since over 25 years and I am particularly interested in wildlife photography. Initially I started taking mainly pictures of reptiles and amphibians. But with time the quest for larger animals became the objective. So far I was fortunate enough to have encounters with some nature’s greatest such as Mountain Gorillas, Rhinos and quite a few of the big cats. I have published books on National Parks of Costa Rica and East Africa (both in German). Additionally my photographs have been published in several books and magazines about reptiles and amphibians of Southeast Asia. My equipment consists of Nikon, Panasonic Lumix and Sea&Sea.
