I am a New York City based photographer with a passion for capturing images of beautiful, exciting, and moving scenes around the world. My work typically focuses on landscape, nature, wildlife and travel photography but may stray into other areas.
Favorite places of mine to visit and photograph include Maine (particularly Baxter State Park), Delaware and Virginia (particularly Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge), Martha's Vineyard (an Island off the coast of Massachusetts, and of course my home of New York City. I also love making adventure-travel type trips to remote locations like Northern Norway (by sailboat in 2007) and the Antarctic (trip pending: Fall 2010).
I have loved photography since I was a teenager when I first started with a Canon A-1, followed later by a class in large format photography in college. More recently I have used a variety of Canon gear including my current 50D and 5DmkII. I have finally fully moved into the digital age with the launch of my photography website, where I get great fulfillment showing my work to the world.
These images are available for license and as prints. The prints on my site are often just a subset of the images I have available, so please contact me if you want a slightly different version of a print you see on my site.
