I have been taking pictures for over 20 years but in the last 5 years I have taken my photography more seriously and have improved considerably. Since I went digital 4 years ago it has allowed me to practice and learn more quickly than when I shot in film. I love shooting macro especially insects and frogs, which I typically end up on the ground getting very dirty. I enjoy shooting landscapes and wildlife. I also work in a zoo, so when I can't get out in the field to shoot "real wildlife" I have captive subjects, which I take advantage of often.
