sunset on the docks

I was actually on location with the intention of shooting a nearby lighthouse, but nothing was really inspiring me. Wandering around toward the end of the shoot I happened upon a single dock leading out to the water. I immediately fell in love with scene. Mostly, I loved the way the sun, as it set, was shining this beautiful golden hue over everything it touched. The way the clouds just cascaded through the sky made it all the better. During post processing, the image was given a tighter crop. Then a boost the yellow to further accentuate the sun's cast.
