firework flames

This shot was part of the fireworks display on the Charles River in Boston, Ma (viewed from the Cambridge side)in 2008. That was the year the barge they use to set off the fireworks had a small fire. It's just visible on the left side of the barge. The fireworks continued without any disruption while some worked to put it out. I love how the reflections of the firework in the water resemble flames dancing around the many boats that are out for the show. To get rid of unwanted negative space, I believe I cropped this photo to about 50%, and cloned out a distraction in the foreground.
