japanese botanical

This photo was taken in Northweast Harbor, not far from Bar Harbor, Maine. While driving through the area, we happened upon a little known botanical garden, landscaped in the style of japanese. I've always loved japenese botanicals for their unique lines and angles. Very pleasing to the eye. We were also lucky enough to find it in late spring, when everything was in colorful bloom. The photo was given a very slight crop, and an adjustment to brightness and contrast.
