Low Tide Anemone

This image was not actually taken with a macro lens (I don't even own one yet). Instead, I used the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens (+ EF 2x III Extender) mounted on the 5D Mark II with my tri-pod placed about 4 feet away from the anemone. 0.6 sec at f/8.0, ISO 100, 400mm.

This was taken on the Fitzgerald Marine Reserve (near Moss Beach, CA) on March 5, 2011.
