Yucca Flower at Mesa Arch

There have been countless images of Mesa Arch over the years; nearly every gallery in Las Vegas has a wall-sized straight-on version. On this May effort, I set up a second camera off to the side. While tending to the exposures, my photographer friend Doug suggested I shoot the Yucca plant. And I am sure glad I did, catching a different view of this classic arch nestled against the Canyonlands cliffs.
