Governor's visit

Groton, CT (Oct. 15, 2004) – Cmdr. Philip McLaughlin, commanding officer of USS Connecticut (SSN 22) presents Gov. M. Jodi Rell, Connecticut, with a ship’s plaque and ballcap on behalf of the officers and crew of Connecticut during her visit to Naval Submarine Base New London (SUBASE) Friday. Rell visited SUBASE to get a base familiarization tour with Capt. Sean Sullivan, SUBASE’s commanding officer and stopped at the pier across from where Connecticut was berthed.
