I'm coming home

Groton, CT (May 10, 2004) – EM1 (SS) Ben Smith, from Historic Ship Nautilus, slides into home as HT2 (SW) Bruce MacDougall, from USS Constitution, leaps for the ball in the fourth inning of the semiannual meeting between Nautilus and Constitution May 10. MacDougall, Constitution’s pitcher, missed the relay from the field, but SN Jacqueline Valencia, Constitution’s catcher (far left), makes the catch to hold up other Nautilus runners. Smith scored the ninth run for his team as Nautilus went on to rout Constitution 11-7.
