Tree-clinging Birds

Keywords: warbler, yellow-rumped

As I was walking along the Blackriver trail, I noticed smallish birds dashing out from the trees, fluttering about, then returning to the trees. I would have never dreamed of being able to shoot little, highly mobile birds with my older Sony/Celestron setup, too slow. Upon further watching, I found there were two bird species both practicing the same activities. This is the Yellow-Rumped Warbler (Myrtle subspecies) Dendroica coronata). Along with the Warblers, were Cedar Waxwings. I later read up and found both species do this type activity as bug catching/feeding.

Enjoy!
