Dragonfly In The Mist

I am lucky enough to live in an area teeming with dragonflies. These insects are not only beautiful, they have proven to be willing and patient subjects! The dragonfly in this picture landed on my keyboard one night while I was at my computer. He was bored, I was bored...photo shoot ensued! I placed him gently on a piece of white paper, adjusted the lighting from several angles and clicked away! This is my favorite shot. I used a light film grain filter to achieve the subtle misty look.
