Bald Eagle (NH) In Flight

Blad Eagle in flight over lake Umbagog,NH. This is part of a two shot sequence that resulted from a bald eagle flying off from a tree, we happened to be in the area and also have our camera ready at the time.

We love bald eagles and often think of going to Homer for those incredible photos, but then we realise the time and effort and how much more difficult it has been to find local eagles to photograph. We keep trying for those closer, more intimate, more specular shots but also come home empty handed many times. The eagles are around, but somethimes don't want to be photographed, it's a challenge we love to try and conquer.
