Black Crowned Night Heron

I photographed this heron and this moon in the AuSable Marsh in northern New York on the same morning, but it was impossible due to the swamp to position myself to take the photo with both the heron and the moon in the same frame so I took shots of both subjects and digitally composited them together, something I kinda steer away from normally. The result actually won first prize at a yearly competition in New York, much to my suprize.
