Fledgling Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus). I managed to capture a series of images of this fledgling Great Horned Owl on what I believe to have been its first venture from the nest. The nest was in my neighbor's tree, and this fledgling flew clumsily and perched in an apricot tree in my backyard. 400 mm 1/20 sec at f11
