Heron on Final

This heron was fishing close to sunset at Fort Flagler State Park on Marrowstone Island, across the bay from Port Townsend Washington. As he came in, his toes slipped across the surface of the water, and as he reaches his landing stall, you can see where aeronautical engnineers get some of their technology transfers from.
