Color or Monotone?

This shot was made at a roadside pullout on the E62 heading from Zermatt in the direction of Geneva, Switzerland. I was struck by the contrast between the monotone landscape and the color of this restaurant sign.

This shot is somewhat of a departure from what I normally shoot, but I'm trying to make my mind see more creatively. I think I did it on this shot, but, I'm too close to it. So, please let me know what you think.
