Water lily

This was one of those images that held a surprise once I saw it on the computer. I spent a good hour trying to get a close up of the dragonflies that were flitting around the edge of the pond. I finally gave up in favor of a more stationary subject. Imagine my surprise when I opened the image and found the dragonfly had lighted on the lily. I like the way that the most visible part of the dragonfly is his shadow.
