A Time of violence

This place is near of the National Park of Carabassi.The first time I saw this place I realized its photographic potential.
The fossilized lava remind me the time when the Earth was a violent and agitated place. I tried several shots at different times of the day, but a couple of weeks ago my dreams came true: Mother Nature gave me this image. Now, when I look at it, it reminds me that a long time ago our planet was a very different place than nowadays.
