This is a close-up image of a Nile crocodile as it lies just above the water in the early morning light. It was taken in the Kruger National Park, South Africa, where it emerged from the same spot 5 out of the 6 days I waited for it. It was truly amazing to get so close to this large predator and all in relative safety!
