In the High Peaks Region of Upstate New York, it is not uncommon to see trees covered in a layer of ice. This ice is actually Rime Frost, a special kind of frost that forms when warmer, humid air meets colder, drier air. This Rime Frost formed on Pine trees at high altitude on Cascade Mountain in the Adirondacks.
