Arthropods

Keywords: Polygonia c-album, Comma

Here you see the white mark on the underwing which gives this butterfly its English name 'Comma', German name 'C-Falter' (C Butterfly) and scientific specific name 'c-album' (white c). Taken from a live, free-flying individual, which explains the deficient quality.

Säkylä, SW Finland

[C-Falter; Herukkaperhonen]
