Autumn Lighting

In pursuit of dramatic skies we drove to remote part of Maine and visited Baxter state park and selected this small river to photograph the autumn colors. Just before the sun disappeared over the horizon, it lit up the top of the tree with a brilliant golden light through the crack in the clouds of approaching storm. The light lasted for only few minutes before the fast moving clouds covered the setting sun.
