Comparison: Great Egret and Snowy Egret

Snowy egret is the smaller egret on the left, with black beak and yellow feet. The Great Egret is considerable larger, with yellow-orange beak and black feet. Both birds show some breeding plumage, although the great egret hasn't yet developed the greenish 'mask' of full breeding plumage.
