Found this while shooting with my good pal Eric... For lack of a better description.. the water reflections had a Monet appeal to me.. and I like how it is being enjoyed by the tiny "water skipper" in the middle..

It does look like a watercolor. Nice patterns, textures, and colors.

Well Ned, I can't really say I love it but the water certainly has some beautiful color and texture.

Not sure the tree branch is doing much for me - I'd prefer more something using just the reflection and the Right bank... but that color in the water is really nice and I like the little water bug in the middle.

It was shot just as nature intended... and like nature.. not always perfect...

I think you needed to work the comp a bit more, Ned. I can feel some real magical colors and shapes but I don't think this comp is the best.
