Deep Orange
My apologies for not participating much recently, but had an assignment at the local agricultural show and the resulting 1200 images to process! Anyway, back with the macro this morning in Mount Stuart gardens. Quite a variety showing today, but I thought this bee in a nasturtium was a bit different.
1DS2, 180 macro, tripod, F32(yes!), 1/25th, ISO 500, gold reflector.
Critique welcomed.
Best wishes

Hello Phil

To me, the bee looks a bit lost in all that orange - looks a bit flat too.

Sorry about that.

Hi Phil,

As someone who loves bright bold colour, especially orange, which is a favourite of mine. How could I possibly not like this image.

A beautiful,colourful macro image.

Hi Phil

Love the colours and the bee is pin sharp but agree with Anthony that the lighting is a little flat but still a very nice image!

Hi Philip

I also think this is a good image, a great idea and good composition and use of colour. And f32 as well, not very often you see that! :toast:

cheers
