Green Sandpiper
Canon EOS 1D MKII, 600mm non IS, 1.4x conv, f7.1, 1/1600, ISO 250, NPN groundshot plate, Wimberley head, RAW, RSE, CS2, Hide, Slight crop.

Hi All,

Well I'm sick of packing  so as the PC is the last thing to be packed thought I would post a pic. This is from the same session as my Little Grebe images.

All comments welcome

Hi Rob other than the water going slightly down hill I really like it.

Hi Rob,

Very nice indeed.
A few degrees anti-clockwise rotation will add the finishing touch.

I like these birds and I like your picture.
Couldn't agree more with the advice re. the rotation.
I suggest you beat yourself about the body with your NPN Wokpod.

Hi Rob

Are there any UK species you didn't photograph over your weekend with Phil?

Another excellent image. I agree a slight CCW rotation to level the water would improve it. No nits really, a shame the reflection isn't a bit more distinct but not a lot you can do about that.

cheers
