Plenty of PS work, the scene in real life was pretty drab.
I was off rooting around. looking for something to shoot, but it was gray skies and windy all around. I was walking back to camp and fired this on off just to say I was there.
It's not too bad, the ISO of 400 doesn't help, I can't imagine I'll print it.

Sucking not bad is better than really sucking?
Posted by Mark Hudon on August 9, 2006 at 12:26 PM
Oh, yeah!
It really doesn't suck that bad, in fact, on the sucking scale, it simply sucks. You understand of course, like I said, it doesn't really suck, it just sucks.

Great, thanks for clearing that up. Although, you have to agree, sitting up there, in the wind and gray and cold, it sucks far less than, like, work.

Well, better luck next time.

Yeah, thanks, we can only hope. I'm not dead yet, I might accidentally take another good photo before I die.

Another? You've taken one?
Posted by Mark Hudon on August 9, 2006 at 12:34 PM
Hey, go soak your head! I've taken a good photo, I know I have.
Actually, I think its kinda cool. I like the colors.

Mark,
No comment/critique of the image, however, a comment on the comments -- seek help fast, either that or you have way too much time on your hands (you should have come up to Rainier with me).
Thanks, Simon. I'd go but next Wednesday I'm leaving for a 10 day backpacking trip in the Uintas east of Salt Lake City. I'm taking camera gear so I hope to come back with some nice stuff.
Mark,
I don't think it sucks "that bad". It does seem a little tilted.

ya know Mark... talking to yourself is normal... but now you're answering yourself... I need another 12x19 print right away. Do you have time to print it before the men in the funny white coats show up?

Mark,
Well you got 26 responses, including this one. Not bad at all.
I think it's a nice atmospheric shot of Mt. Adams in the distance with muted pastel colors.

Great post. Even if the capture isn't up to par, its an amazing place and it must have been a great experience. I'm jealous.
Actually, it doesn't look as good here on the web as it does at home.

Best of luck with the Unitas trip -- I look forward to hearing about it on your return.
