Nice, in its enviroment shot. Btw your lens is that the sigma 800mm?

Cracking shot, although a little large in the frame for some peoples tastes

D2X + 800mm lens  that makes 1200mm focal length...is there any need for a hide when you can muster this much focal length...I guess the hide manufactures will soon be quaking in their boots next to the film manufacturers

Hi Paul yes the 800mm f5.6 hsm prime. Larry I had my camera set to high-speed crop mode so the field of view was equivalent to 1600 mm  I do have a hide but do not use it very often nowadays  always have it in the car.

Phillip.

Good image Phil, but I don't give the youngsters much hope of survival.
Best wishes

Hi Phillip

I'm not a lover of tight crops but this one works and the low angle and composition are great!
