I got a chance to spend some time with this Laughing Gull while on Seabrook Island, SC in June. I was waiting around to go to some family function so I took my camera and headed down to the crabbing dock. I know, mid-morning light but what's a guy supposed to do?

That's really nice, Wayne. The background is particularly interesting - it almost looks like a painting. It's a nice counterpoint to the bird, which is very sharp. Thanks for posting!
Looks pretty good to me Wayne, in spite of the morning light. I'm wondering how this would look cropped down a little - maybe even make it a vertical...just seems like a lot of BG compared to the gull.
Thanks for posting...been kinda slow.

Bill, I thought along your lines but went with the full frame version. Here's one with your approach. Thanks
