To celebrate my 35th birthday myself and a couple of co-workers decided to ride the most Classic Colorado bike ride. Starting point was Idaho Springs around 7,500ft and finishing point was the end of Mount Evans paved road at around 14,130ft. Just over 3 hours later, 27.5 miles and lot of climbing I made it. Everything was nice and dry but a little cool until about a mile from Summit Lake when the heavens decided to open the flood gates. All I can say it was very cold at the top.

Congratulations and Happy 35th B-Day, Jody! Looks like good shootin' weather up there, hope you brought a "real" camera for the trip down.

Jody, I seen people riding bikes up to Evans when I was last in CO. I honestly can't even imagine the difficulty invovled. Lots and lots of endurance.
Congrats

Jody, Congratulations! I hope that you saw more than the road five feet in front of your front tire! I couldn't even have done that when I was your age.
When are you going to try entering the Sky Runners for their annual race to the summit? Then there was the old man I saw who rode his Unicycle to the summit. He may have only gone from Summit Lake, but still farther than I could ever have managed.
