I would lose the advertising on the enlarged image pages. The images look oversaturated. You have a nice variety of butterfly images.

I would have to second Walter's comments. The monitor I am using here at work is pretty dull, and the saturation comes through very strongly. Since there is no text below the image, you could move the advertising banner to the bottom of the page where it would still be visible but not as intrusive to the viewer.

The images are very good compostitionally.

Looks like you have changed the site again. It looks much better. The text accompanying the images always starts out with "An image of". I would drop that text. It isn't necessary, and is overly redundant when you read it for every image.

Hi Walter, thank you for your advice. As you've probably noticed i'm only an amateur, particularly with the web design and i do tend to over intensify the colours in my photos (artistic liscence, i suppose), i just like brightly coloured images.

Kind regards,
Steve.

Your layout changes have really improved the visuals of the site. It is a lot easier on the eyes.

Maybe this is due to this post being so old, but why don't you have your website listed in your NPN profile so readers of your posts can just click on your website?
