Hi Elliot,
Very nice, lovely soft colours and the ample space surrounding the hare isolates him perfectly.

Hi Elliot,

How bizarre, I was just looking at this image on your website!!

The image has a nice composition with plenty of enviro, to me does look like the colours need a bit of a lift.

You have some stunning work on your website :toast:

Regards

Rob

Hi Elliott

This is an excellent shot and the composition is fine for editorial purposes with plenty of space for text above the main subject. Nice and sharp with a good pose from the hare, technically no real nits.

I also agree the image is very flat, it looks like a RAW conversion with no levels, saturation, adjustment. It is also posted in AdobeRGB and not converted to sRGB which will effect the colours slightly.

I hope you don't mind but I downloaded your image and had a quick bash at trying to improve the levels and colour.

cheers

Sean

Here is the image, maybe not perfectly adjusted, but to my eyes and on my monitor this is at least an improvement. Moved middle levels slider to about 0.8 ish, saturation +5 ish, converted to sRGB.

cheers

Hi Sean,

Certainly has more punch. On my screen it is a little too garish though. Maybe I need my monitor recalibrated. Anyone got a spyder I can borrow/hire?

It was photographed in shade at the end of the day and I haven't fiddled with it.

Hi Elliot,

A lovely picture. Only ever seen the tail of one so would love to have an image like this in my collection.

Great stuff
Regards Chris.

Like this a lot. I think somewhere between yours and Seans would be perfect. Only see them well out of range, so may have to get some camo gear soon

I like the shot generally, but would prefer it a little less central (i.e., more to the right), and find a couple of the grass stems in front of him a bit distracting, particularly the more in-focus one pointing up towards the eye. Colourwise, somewhere between the two would be my preference; Sean`s is maybe a tad too Velvia-ish!

Elliot, a fine image. I too would like the colour somewhere between the two. I also agree about the grass. Other than that, top marks! :toast: :toast:
