This from what I read is a very lite eight camera. But it specs look pretty good. Is this a camera worthy of getting quality nature images ?

Hi William
The short answer is yes.
Image quality from the 350D is effectively the same as from a 20D, 30D or 1Dmk2.
On the functional side the camera lacks a bit in the autofocus, RAW buffering, shutter response, etc but if handled correctly will give just as good results as from higher specification cameras.
I would recommend the DPreview of this camera for the full low-down on what your getting, and what you are missing, in comparison to say a 30D.

You might find the handling of the camera the most important consideration so look at getting the battery grip as well to give better balance with bigger, heavier lenses.

I was going to say exactly what Justin said. Juza demonstrates the quality that can be achieved in the right hands. And he's only recently got his 600mm prime if I remember rightly and his images prior to that were seriously good anyway!! Quite scary!!
