Canon EOS 1D MKII, 300mm f2.8 (Phil's), f7.1, 1/160, ISO 640, Wimberley head, RAW, RSE, CS2, Set up of 3 580 flashes via remote (Phil's), deck chair , thousands of mossies.
Hi All,
Seeing these amazing animals was the highlight of my workshop weekend, I've never really observed Badgers much but to see them at such close range was magical and to get images of them was even better.
The work and dedication and sheer passion that Phil has put into these habitats to encourage all the wildlife he has attracted is first class.
All comments welcome

Hi Rob
As you have said nice to see an adult out in the open like this. I do find the image a bit contrasty with a few hot spots giving the appearance of being a little over flashed!
Rob, Not sure how you are set up at the moment with the house move, but I think you should look at re-processing this.
Congratulations on your success with the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.

Hi Rob
great experience and a great picture of the Badger. I would prefer an image between the two that you have presented.

Rob,
I think the second is better. Love the expression. Looks like me first thing in the morning!
Overall a good image of a tricky night time subject. Would be pleased to have taken this myself.

Hi Rob
Second edition looks better, although I still feel it is not quite right, but maybe that is just due to the use of flash for this shot. Composition wise this is excellent with a good pose and eye contact with the badger.
