Well it looks like most of as are back home. I would like to share this shot with you one more time. i posted it few days/weeks back and got 196 views and NO COMMENT It was sunrise form one of newly found locations, to which I will be returning often. It was not as spectacular light as it was during a sunset, but I thought it still was a great display of light.
Thanks,
Tomas

I don't remember seeing this before but let me be the first to say that I agree it is a great display of light. The contrast between the warm and cool tones, the low angle you chose to emphasize the lupine, and that sky all combine for a terrific image. Can you give us some of the technical details??

Tom,
I love the contrast between the deep bluish purple of the lupine, the white flowers, and the last rays of the sun on Rainer. Now, please don't keep the location a secret, OK!!

Personally, I am distracted by the very bright foreground. Otherwise, this is a great photo. The composition, the subject matter, and the colors are great. I remember you posted this photo earlier, but you did not ask for critiques. You wanted to "warm us up" for the wildflower season.

I also think the FG is a little too bright. The dark tree line where the GND did it's thang is a bit strong also. But a great location, Tomas.....

I think the overall exposure is perfect. Any darker, and I'd be wishing for more detail and light. Those clouds are wonderful too...as is the vantage point. Great find!

My only critique is tonal adjustment thoughout. The foreground seems too bright and the shadows in the middle-ground a little blocky. A grad/blend line seems to be evident along the distant treeline. Minor stuff though. A very strong image overall.

The exposure of the foreground is good. The exposure of the background is good. But somehow they seem to have a different color and quality of light as if pieced together. Personally that bothers me.

Tomas,
I like it and personally don't feel that the foreground is too bright as it is probably closer to what you saw. One slight nit. Just past the first ridge of trees, there appears to be a bright area. Can't tell what it is.
What did you shoot this with?
