Upper Ice Lakes Basin - My shot!
This shot was taken the following morning after my adventure up Mount Sneffels. By this time I was outfitted with clothes from the Wal-mart in Montrose. You got love Wal-mart!

That is awesome, the reflection is just killer. Now you can keep your WalMarty clothes in the car for the next time you forget  ....................J

Sweet Jody! I've been there! Mine's from June this year. Interesting how similar our shots are, yet so different. I like how you have the foreground grass swooping around.

Great shot, Jody! I'll have to tell you my "buying clothes at Wal-mart in an emergency" story, one I will not relate here.

Would you consider pulling back on either the red or magenta just a little bit on this? The reddish cast of the sky betrays the image's overall skew, ever so slight as it is.

Todd, I see what you say about the colors, on my laptop look good but desktop they look oversaturated. The saturation has not been raised one bit, the slides are rather potent though, if I was to print I would tone them down from the slides a little.

Jody - wow - That is amazing

Todd - I agree this image goes towards red a bit (I see it in the middle rocks), but I don't think bringing it to neutral necessarily makes it better. Do you prefer bringing everything to netural? I often find that I get a magenta cast from cloudcover (probably not at work in this picture) that I just go with.

Sweet shot man. Brings back good memories. I love this place! I too like the tundra included in the foreground.

Nice shot! I like the pink on top of the mountain tops.

Jody, this one tops the Sneffles sunrise, but the story makes the other so interesting. You have had some really good posts this summer, keep up the excellent work.

Jody, I love the green foliage with the alpenglow. Though a bit lost at this size, I would love to see a big print where the Primrose and Marigolds would pop out! Knowing you were decked out in Walmart Wear doesn't make me shiver looking at this.

Killer shot Jody! Oh, and I second the fact that I want to see a shot of you in your Wal Mart specials!!!
