Darren, looks great and betrays none of the difficulty of your scanning process. Got any good flower shots?

Looks good. Is it slightly tilted CCW? Might be an optical illusion.
Can't wait to see more from your trip!

Hi Darren. This is an excellent shot, and I am sure all of us would like to see more.
On another note, I would like to thank you for posting so much info on your website about various dirt roads in the State. I am sure you already know, but your website is great. Thank you again!
I second Momo's comments as I told you on the top opf Cinnamon
I love Clear Lake but did not get there this season. Great shot and Todds comment about slightly tilted...Ive got lots of lake shots where the lake shore line does not parallel the event horizon. har har

Looks pretty right to me! The morning shadow at this lake is tough to work with, in my opinion. I think you certainly made the most of your window of opportunity. Can't wait to see these flowers you were bragging about.

I feel your pain with regards to scanning. It's slow going on the Wind Rivers film. This is pretty darn sweet, Darren. Perfect reflection, nice relief on the mountains, great sky, good shadow detail... it works for me. It looks like it might be a bit heavy on the green/cyan; maybe warm it up a bit?

Sweet shoot Darren!

Darren, was wondering why you weren't posting as much as you used too, especially with all the trips you seem to be taking. Just figured it was burn out from the Canada adventure. This one is pretty sweet and since I'm a sucker for reflections this one moves on up the scale for me. And the clouds make it that much better.
Darren, You mentioned scanning with Silverfast AI. I just went to that from the Epson scanware and it really is fairly painless and quicker. I've got the 4870. What resolution setting do you use to scan your 4X5s?

Reason I asked about resolution is that I have a somewhat no-pressure comission to produce a picture reminiscent of Pagosa Springs for my Sister-in -aw who lives in Lost Wages, NV, owns land in Pagosa and has a 4 foot space she wants to fill with my art in her new house. I'm wondering how big can we print a 4X5 scan on a Lightjet at 200dpi.
