A really nice shot Rob and a setting that's a little different from the usual gorse bush you often see them on.
I like it.

Yes very nice image Rob. Like Justin said it makes a change from the usual. I'm a fine one to talk but don't know if you could have stopped down to f11 as the bill seems to be getting slightly out of focus? Maybe just the image size posted. Very nice indeed.

Hi Rob

Very nice image, a bit different from the usual Stonechat shots, the beach texture and colours are excellent and work really well with the Stonechat. The use of the foreground and background sand to give such a strong depth of field effect works well, defintely looks like you had your nose in the dirt when you took this shot.

cheers

Sean

p.s. I have PM'd you Rob

Very nice, as said a bit different, like the DoF effect of the beach which helps focus attention on the bird.
