Hi-di-ho,
I know it is has been a long time since I have posted (or even read a post). I have been wrapped up with launching my portrait business and have not been doing a lot of wildlife or nature photography this year. People, people, and people with pets. But I did want to give you this years details for the Arts Contest. Erik Lundh was a first prize winner last year and so I know you will want to give him a run for his money this year. (We appreciated his participation)

It is going to be September 16 and the deadline for registration is 5pm Monday Sept 11, 2006. Pre-registration is required and there is a $10 dollar fee per entry. When you pre-register you get free entry into the festival ($5 value). You must bring your art work/photography to enter. I just looked at the website and they have not made the corrections I suggested so I'll post that as soon as they correct it. The prize money is based on a percentage of the entry fee for the category. So it will depend on how many enter.

Thanks and keep pressing the shutter release.

Thanks Alan. I think I may participate this year. Heck, if ERIK can win...well, then we all should have a pretty good chance  :wavey: .
I noticed the rules say "centered". Does that mean an intimate stream pic, not taken in the MHNF can be submitted in the contest? And what about the booth? Can I display other waterfall and mountain images there?
