The fog parted...
for less than 1 min. before going back to fog soup for the rest of the day. But Zack and myself were ready for that moment !! This is on the Paradise Glacier trail - a nice little lake is up there for a unique reflection but there was nothing around the lake except for a bit of snow on the South edge. This snow was melting very quickly before our eyes and is surely gone now. Thanks to Scott from Ohio for sharing this lake location with us.

I remember this moment well, we waited for hours to get just a few glimpses of the mountain. You captured it well here, I like the rocks underwater around the snow melting.

John, you are welcome for the tip. Glad you found it. You are right about the changing conditions. When I was there 5-6 days earlier, it was still half covered with ice. As for your photo, I like the mountain and clouds (hard to believe it was so foggy most of the time looking at your photo), and it nicely shows the harsh condtions at timberline, but I think a better (translated:early morning) reflection may have made the shot more compelling.

Scott, thanks again and you are right - this is not one I plan to print very large but I like it and will put it in my online gallery... and yes - literally 30 seconds later, the fog came back and didn't leave for the rest of the day.
