Thank you everyone for the warm welcome! I'd like to add some information in response to replies.
I am a native of the Great PNW, born in Tacoma and living in Seattle for the last 25 years. I started in photography in the 1980's with my first Pentax 35mm SLR. I now have a backpack full of Nikon gear including the D200, which brought me into digital in March of this year. What a phenomenon!
My favorite subjects include flowers, as you've seen as my first uploads; also, birds, equine, landscape, water/reflections. After all, though, I'll shoot anything that appeals to me! Nutty photographer! And there's always something new to try.
Please do return to my pages when you can, as I continue to upload images of all subject matter. And I am enjoying all of what I've seen here so far.
