Cloudman, revisited
After hearing reports last night that fog was a solid probability this morning, I headed to my go-to spot in the Wet Mountains and, sure enough, found some fog. It's funny, as I left Pwaylo, the fog gave way to partly cloudy, almost clear conditions, and as I got to this spot, there was no sign of any cloud action. But just before sunrise the fog started spilling into the canyon.

I posted a different one over in ESS. Like usual with conditions like these, the scene changed with each passing second.

I'm heading back to the Sangres tonight (although I'm leaving before 9:15 this time!) to see what tomorrow brings. Stay tuned...

Anybody else go out and catch the soup this morning?

Nice! I like the effect of the thin veil of cloud on the blues and oranges, the way they gently blend together.

I didn't get out Sunday morning, but we were up at Kite Lake on Saturday morning. Talk about clouds - maybe too much of a good thing. Sunrise was non-existent, but it was still a great experience as fog and thick clouds blanketed us most of the morning. We could barely see the lake, and Democrat was nowhere to be found. But, by about 10 am, things started to break and we got to enjoy some great light.
