Gull
I have just returned from the States and UK so have been away from home for a month,We flew back into London last week so managed to get caught up in all the terrorist rubbish so have been downloading all day,This image was taken whilst photographing ground squirrels along the Calafornian coast,This Gull landed near a squirrel i was photographing did a load of swalking and flew off,I had no chance of composing the shot as i had the 500mm on and as soon as it landed it took off,Abit big in the frame but then again i was in the states and thats how they like em

Hi Dave

Good to have you back, nice shot you have already identified my main nit - too big in the frame but nicely captured!

Juvenile Heermann's Gull; nice squawk.

caught at just the right time Dave. I actually don't mind the tightness of the image except I would prefer just a little more space below the foot :)

Hi Dave,

Well captured to have got it before it took off again. Nice one!

Regards Chris.

Nicely done with good action and detail, I would be tempted to try and manufacture some space below...

Look forward to seeing more from your trip.
