A very unusual shot - well done Rob, one to be rightly proud of

Choice of two for me this time, both superb images and both shot from low viewpoints.
Phil Shaw's Oystercatcher
Danny Green's Water Vole
I'll opt for Danny's shot simply because of the superb framing and the time he has spent on getting shots of these little critters.

I almost had to toss a coin between Justin's two fine images of Sika Deer but I'm going for his first post 'A Tender Moment'

A tough choice this time round ;
Justin's deer photographs were excellent, David Kjaer's Barn swallow shot was stunning with perfect composition and timing, Danny Green's Water Vole shot was a great nature image and Phil Shaw posted the best Oystercatcher shot I have seen.
To choose one above the other is difficult as each has it's merits, but in the end I am going to go for Phil Shaw's Oystercatcher image. Technically perfect, great exposure and detail in the black and whites, super colours, and the slight wing blur and water droplets just makes it a very appealing image to view.
My vote goes for Alisons Grasshopper, well exposed and a classic close up of this species, and as a relative newcomer Alison has learnt and put into practice so much to produce IMO an excellent image... (plus c/u is a personal fave of mine )

I have to say it is a tough call again. The images that stood out for me were Justin's deer images with the "A tender moment" being that bit special amongst them, but my vote will have to go with Phil Shaw's Oystercatcher. Really inspired me.

I have to say I don't think I've seen a better picture of an Oystercatcher so my vote goes to Phil.
