Sorry to be away from the forum the past few weeks, but I've been having fun while in between jobs. But my fun time is over and it's back to work at my old job. And now I'm lookin for some new equip
We were at the beach this past weekend, and although I had to petition hard to leave the fam-fam and get some beach shots, I came by this a little too late for a fiery sunset. I still like it, though, as a silhouette.
Tell me what you think - esp. what you might have done differently if you were taking the picture.

Hey there Kevin...I am not sure where this was taken but it looks like it was between Rockaway and Tillamook....if so, Us Tillamookians Call this Don Best rock....I think the guy has photographed it from every angle and light available....if its not where I think it is...sorry!!!
I do love the simplicity of this image....very very nice....

Very nice, getting anything close this when with Fam fam would have to be considered a success !!

I love the blues in this one Kevin. If I would change one thing it would be to have a little more breathing room between the two outermost rock formations and the edge of the photo. It looks great as is though :)

Fiery sunsets are easy, The color here has more appeal. Very nice.
Yeah, I wish I had more room between the rocks on the right. But it was a hard won pic, the AF wouldn't lock b/c it was so dark when I started I was shocked it was in focus since I MF'ed it at f/8. I was really elated after that
I hope to get up some Tipsoo Lake pics and Mt. Jefferson shots soon. I've been shootin like mad lately...
